I's a cold and raining day at camp, you'd think it would be a good day for cleaning the house, but NO, we going skiing.
September - we are having a contest for the best picture from summer camp 2010, for the front cover of our brochure. Please submit your picture to kim@winningtechniques.com before October 1st, 2010.

What a great summer!
Congrats to all of you that achieved your goals. We had goals to land Double Axels, to complete Gold Dances, to pass the Bronze Cross, to Back Flip on the Wakeboard, to Barefoot & you did it all! Adam and I are very proud.
A BIG thanks to all our staff. You made our summer fun & safe!

Announcing the grand opening of our new camper accommodation building: 8 showers, 8 toilets, new bunks, new mattresses and a games room complete with table tennis and air hockey. More info and pictures to come soon!

We had the best 1st week ever! The dances and skits for variety night were awesome. Javier from Spain won the best wakeboard trick of the week. Christian, from Sudbury won the best archery shot. Jonathan, who's 7, got up on the water skis first try.
Looking forward to next week!

We have 6 campers that have already checked in. Tomorrow the rest will arrive. Looking forward to an exciting week.

Our Fire Fighters Fundraiser is tomorrow. On Saturday June 19th from 10-4, we are opening our doors for a family fun day here at the camp. Proceeds go to our local fire fighters.
The Leo's youth group is helping with a garage sale.
The Emsdale Lions are helping with the BBQ.
Everyone is welcome!

Went for a family kayak adventure this morning. Tried out our 3 new kayaks. Had a blast!
Thanks to Kat & Becky for volunteering to life guard the beach at our fire fighters fundraiser this coming Saturday.

Thanks you Peter for certifying my staff on the rock wall. This is a very popular station here at camp. There was a lot to learn, I glad everyone passed.

What a weekend!
Thanks to Todd - Kayaking is going to be even better this year. Adam is now talking about taking a Kayaking trip. We'll have to wait until summer camp is over of course. The staff is pumped for Kayaking. Looking forward to having you back in July for the Leadership group.

The sky was so pink tonight that the lake looked pink. It was so pretty - breath taking!

Carl and I were in a charity golf tournament yesterday. Carl's long drive hit the bush and out came a big black bear. Thanks goodness it was our last hole.
