Camp Activities
All of the programs at the Winning Techniques Camp include the following camp activities:
Archery
Winning Techniques campers learn how to use a compound bow in a safe environment. All campers learn and practice the art of archery daily at the new range.
Arts and Crafts
Our Campers will enjoy participating in a our Arts and Crafts Program. T-shirt decoration, wood-working, making jewlery, painting, papier mache and more!
Board & Card Games
It's a rainy day, so why not make some new friends? Our campers love to partake in card and board games when it is too rainy to go outside.
Bonfires
Our campers gather around a bonfire on a nightly basis. It's a great time to share memories of their fun day with other campers while having fun roasting marshmallows and wieners!
Canoeing & Kayaking
Learning to canoe and kayak on Clear Lake in the Muskokas is a memorable experience for all of our campers.
Disk Golf
A fun round of golf using baskets and disks. A great sport for large groups using the main Camp property as a backdrop with movable targets and tees.
Fishing
In the evenings the campers are welcome to fish off our dock. We have plenty of fishing gear and if one of the campers manages to catch the big one we have a fish fry and share it with the others.
Hiking
Our campers will enjoy a nature hike guided by their counsellor. They may see moose, deer, rabbits, chipmunks or other small animals!
Low Ropes Course
Campers enjoy this fun team building station as they try to make it throught our low ropes course together!
Movie Night
On movie night at the Winning Techniques Summer Camp our campers get to vote on the movie that they want to see played on our projection screen.
Paddle Boating
Campers are free to take out one of our paddle boats during their beach time. They must always wear a life jacket and stay in full sight of the head life guard and camp counsellor.
Rock Climbing Wall
Our campers will enjoy climbing our unique climbing wall. The walls angle can be changed to make the ascent more or less difficult.
Snorkelling
Campers are free to snorkel during their daily beach time. It's a lot of fun exploring our underwater world!
Sports and Games
Our campers get to participate in a number of sports and game in addition to their chosen program. Badminton, Bocce Ball, Horse Shoes, Table Tennis, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Croquet & More!
Swimming
All of the groups from each of our programs head down to enjoy the beach every afternoon, a great time to enjoy a swim or just lay in the sun!
Trampoline
Work on your moves with our qualified trampoline instructor. Learn the proper techniques for all kinds of crazy flips.
Tubing
Every Friday our campers get to have a chance to enjoy tubing behind our boats! This is one fun activity that always leads to some great laughs.
Tuck Shop
Campers can visit our Tuck Shop daily from 6:00pm until 7:00pm. It's a great place to get themselves a special treat or any essential items that they may have forgotten.
Variety Night
Campers enjoy coming up with skits and dances to be performed at Thursday night's Variety Night!
Waterski, Wakeboard, Wakeskate & Barefoot
Learn to Water Ski, Wakeboard, Wakeskate, Slalom Ski and maybe even Barefoot! The towed watersports activity is a highlight of the Camp!
